Chapter 2: Who Is The Potter In Your Life?

Hello there beautiful people! Welcome to chapter 2 of this new world we are in… If your not on board you better hope in the bus!

So this week I’ve been reading and studying a verse in the bible and I thought I should share with you… Sharing is caring! Lol

For those who don’t really know the book of Jeremiah, Jeremiah was also known as the ‘weeping Prophet.’ He was one of the major prophets of the Hebrew Bible. He was used by God at a very tender age. He looked at himself as only a youth yet God saw beyond his age, he set him apart. When God spoke to him, He touched Jeremiah’s mouth and the Lord said ‘ I have put My Words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms…’ So Jeremiah obeyed and did as God ordered him to do but it was never easy for him. But God kept His Word and He was always with Jeremiah and even those times when he wanted to give up.

If we skip to Jeremiah 18vs 6 when God instructs Jeremiah to go to the potters house where He spoke to him and said: “oh house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter? Look as the clay is in the potters hands, so are you in my Hands.”  Wow I don’t know about you but this Word spoke to me in so many levels. Have you actually looked at the way a pot-maker makes a pot? If not, click on the image below to watch the video:

So when God says He has you in His Hands why do you worry? Let His will be done in your life and allow him to mold you, to shape you, to conform you. And remember sometimes for that to happen, God needs to break you. Understand that when He breaks you,  He breaks you to position you, He breaks you to promote you, to put you in your right place. So don’t think God will hurt you, when He breaks you He doesn’t destroy you. He does it with grace.

So allow Him to Gracefully break you & make Him the potter in your life.
